The Apple Bunny, Part I

Normally we live in Maryland. But right now, because of the pandemic, we are staying with family in Texas. This temporary home is in the country, where we see lots of wonderful new things.

One day, while Mom and I were out walking in the evening, we saw something really spectacular: a bunny. This wasn’t just your usual run-of-the-mill cottontail bunny. This bunny was red. And six feet tall. And it looked rather distressed.

Toe-Up Socks

Over a year ago, I finished my first ever pair of socks and decided such articles of clothing were my new favorites to knit. After all, what could be more practical than a pair of socks? And I’m all about practicality. Since the first socks were knit cuff down, the obvious next step was to learn toe-up. I picked out a pattern, looked up Judy Becker’s Magic Cast On (JBMCO), and started to work.
